Features:

Large CLEAN grassy area - Covered Pavilion – stone fire place – picnic tables – bathrooms close to rings – electric – water hose hook-up - Swimming area for people – a swimming area for the dogs – ample parking, shade for dogs, walking trails, nearby restaurants, hotel and motels with easy access from route 9 North or South or Rte. 17 & Rte. 68 & Rte. 66.

Each family attending is asked to bring a dish to share with the group. The club supplies hamburgs, hot dogs, rolls, & soda. To avoid duplicate food items everyone is asked to let the picnic chairperson know what you are bringing. This years chairperson is Joan Tuthill ( joanmtuthill@comcast.net ).  Some suggested food items are listed below.

NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN PARK
DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES (this is a CT State Law)
DOGS MUST HAVE UPTO DATE RABIES CERTIFICATE (this is a CT State Law)

From Springfield MA:
..... RT 91 south to RT 9 south (Rocky Hill area) to Exit 11 (***see note at end fo directions)

From Waterbury CT:
.....RT 84 east to RT 691 To RT 66 To RT 9 south to Exit 11

From Merritt Pkwy-Wilbur Cross Pkwy (RT 15):
.....RT 15 To RT 684(Exit 67)/RT 66 (Exit 11) To RT 9 south (Exit 11)
(note: as you approach Exit 67 in Meriden stay in the far right lane and you will be able to merge easily onto rt 684/66 to Middletown)

From NY or MA
.....RT 95 to RT 9 in Saybrook CT. to Middletown Exit 11
....... (there are shorter ways from 95 if you use a map)
..... RT 95 to RT 81 to RT 9 to Exit 11 (2 exits)
..... Rt 95 to RT 77 to RT 17 To RT 155 (all secondary roads after leaving RT 95)

RT 91 to RT 68 (Exit 15) to RT 17 to right onto Randolph Rd (RT 155), in Middletown

RT 91 to RT 66 To RT 9 to Randolph Rd Exit 11, Middletown

***Route 9 (from North or South) take exit 11 (Randolph Road Exit (RT 155)), at end of exit ramp, take a left turn going DOWN the hill (west on Randolph Road), at traffic light AFTER the firehouse, take a left onto Millbrook Rd, continue about 1 mile, right onto Livingston Rd to top of hill, take a right into the park.
