Board Meetings 2011:

DATE: The Board Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. followed by the General Meetings. Doggie socializing starts at 7 p.m. till start of Board meeting and sometimes after the general meeting - time permitting. All meetings are held at the Oxford facility, directions below.

General Meetings 2011:

Our General Club meetings will be on the 2nd FRIDAY of the month, right after the Board meeting - at the Oxford Training facility, Directions below - Meeting notices can be found by using the menu system to the right ( about us / 2011 meeting notices )
Dates: Jan 21/ Feb 11/ Mar 11/ April 8/ May 13/ June 10/ July & Aug - No Meetings/ Sept 9/ Oct 14/ Nov 18/ Dec - Annual Awards Dinner.

General Meetings are held on SECOND Friday of each month at the Oxford facility (ODTCW):
11 Robinson Lane Oxford , CT 06478, except for the months of July/Aug (summer break/picnic) and Dec (xmas party).

Socialization/Training Dates 2011:

The following Saturdays have been scheduled for Breed Handling and Socialization from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at the ODTCW in Oxford. Contact John Vaught Masstana@aol.com or 203-438-7062 if you are planning to attend. Directions to the facility are listed below.

Please let John know if you plan to attend. If we don't get at least 3 other club members with their dogs to show up, I will cancel the class. The charge is $5 for the 1.5 hour per family. We have to pay the training club for the time so please let me know if you are coming.

Club members are encouraged to find a gathering place in the Greater New Haven Area where we can hold club meetings and bring our dogs. The club can NOT, at this time afford to pay too much for this place, so try to find a "free" place or very moderatly priced place to meet at least once a month. We will continue to use the Oxford facility for General Meetings until a better location is found.  Send your suggestions to the members of the Board so they can be discussed.

Take me-84 East or West to Exit 16. At end of ramp, turn Left onto Rt. 188, South. Go approximately 1 mile and turn left onto Airport Rd. Continue straight about ¾ mile and turn right onto Christian St. (2nd right off Airport Rd.) Follow Christian St. for approx. 1 mile to Robinson Lane (4th right) between Ma's Mini-Storage and Joyce Trucking. Turn on to Robinson Lane . The training facility is .1 mile on the left in the back of the building.

Rte 8 South or Rte 63 to I-84 and proceed as above.

Rte 8 North to exit 22 ( Bank Street ) Left off exit then turn left onto Route 67. Proceed on Rt. 67 for 5 miles. Turn right onto Christian St. for 1.5 miles. Turn left on to Robinson Lane and proceed as above.
