In this section of our site the members can brag of their accomplishments over the year. In November the Awards Committee can look thru this section to make sure we do not miss any deserving member from getting their Award for the year.

I will try to look up some of the brags from Jan & Feb. but it would be much easier for someone to send them to me. John V & Linda C have earned titles on their dogs, I believe, so if you will send me the win picture if you have it - there are more pages for this section.

2008 Brags:  

March:

Masstana's Haley's Comet won her 2nd major this past weekend at the GSDC of Leigh Valley under Judge Sandi Card.  This was a particularly gratifying win because of the high quality of the bitches shown which included several who won placements at the last GSDCA National.  Haley showed with a great attitude and confident demeanor which, when coupled with her outstanding movement, caught the judges eye and earned the nod.  Haley now has 8 points toward her championship.

Farmil's Party of One (Chuck and Doris Farrell sable bitch) finished her championship (pending AKC approval) on Saturday, March 22 at the New Brunswick Kennel Club show under Judge Michael Cheeks.

Masstana's Karli , won the open class 2 of the 3 shows she was in and went Reserve Winners Bitch (4 points) to the open class winner in the last show.  Karli is just starting her show career in earnest and we are looking forward to a successful career for her as well as her kennel mates.   

 

February:

Masstana's Just in Case (Casey) finished his championship with 10 points in one weekend at the Rockland County Kennel Club shows last month.  Casey received his OFA Excellent in January so he is raring to go get the ladies!  Casey was shown in American Bred 6 times winning the class 5 times.  He went on to winner's dog (3 points and 2 points) in 2 of those shows (including a BOB) and was Reserve Winners Dog (5 points) in another.  He was shown in the Open Class 3 times and won all three and went WD, BOW and BOS in each of those.  Two of those shows were 4 point majors.  We are very proud of our young dog.
